About Me

I'm a technology leader who's spent 20+ years at the intersection of engineering, architecture, and leadership — mostly in healthcare and fintech, where the stakes are real and the margin for error is zero. I've designed systems that move millions of dollars daily, process hundreds of thousands of healthcare transactions, and operate under strict regulatory requirements like HIPAA.

Right now, I lead a 27-person engineering organization as Director of Software Development, owning technical strategy, architecture roadmap, and cross-functional delivery alongside product, finance, compliance, and executive teams. Before that, I spent five years as a Principal Solutions Architect at the same company — designing and building the core platform that executed a $73 million financial institution migration through the Federal Reserve with zero discrepancies.

What sets me apart is that I'm not just a strategist or just a builder — I'm both. I can draw the architecture on a whiteboard, write the code to prove it works, and lead the team that ships it to production. I prototype to drive alignment, mentor engineers on clean architecture and DDD, and never lose sight of the business outcomes that technology is supposed to enable.

Outside of my day job, I stay sharp by building things. I've single-handedly architected and delivered high-throughput platforms, explored AI-augmented development workflows, and continually pushed myself into new technical territory. I believe the best leaders never stop being practitioners.
